Ausangate trek 2-day to rainbow Mountain is one of the most amazing adventures that exists in the Cusco region,for its wonderful landscapes and impressive snowy mountain,decorated with colorful lakes and rainbow mountain .

Is one of the shortest treks we offer and i s one of the best treks in the Andes .This hike is for people who want to connect with nature and the mountains,and take away a beautiful experience.Trek offers a condensed yet stunning adventure through the Andean highlands, with breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks, turquoise lakes, and traditional Andean villages. The trek starts with a drive from Cusco to the trailhead, followed by a moderate hike to the base of Mount Ausangate (6,384 meters), one of Peru’s most sacred peaks. Along the way, you’ll pass colorful lagoons like Puca Cocha, experience local culture, and enjoy panoramic views from the Arapa Pass.

Tour Plan

Day 1: Cusco(pitumarca)-quesiuno-Puca pass-Anantapata-Warmisaya pass to Surine qocha

We'll pick your up early at 4:00 am to start your adventure.We'll make our way to the starting point in Quesiuno and enjoy some breakfast. You'll begin hiking through a stunning green valley and see the Ausangate Mountain in the distance.You'll get to observe rural andean communities and see how they live off the land.We'll keep hiking 2 hour to the Puka Pass.(4,870 meters), where you’ll be rewarded with incredible views of Pukaqocha Lagoon and the massive Ausangate glacier.We'll have a short break and then continue descend for about 1hour to Anantapata for lunch. Once we're full and ready to hike again,we'll ascend for two hours to the highest point Warmisaya Pass (4,955 meters).You'll catch your first glimpse of Rainbow Mountain from here! then,we'll continue to our camp for the night at surineqocha lagoon o lactoc and enjoy dinner before resting for the night.

Day 2: Surineqocha - Rainbow Mountain - Red Valled - Llactoc to Cusco

You’ll wake up at 4:00 a.m. with a hot cup of coca tea and then enjoy a hearty breakfast before we make our way to Rainbow Mountain.you'll get there before the rest of the tourist groups and avoid the large crowds. We’ll begin our hike with a 1-30 hour to the Rainbow Mountain (5,100 meters).Spend some time taking in the incredible landscapes and capturing some photos before continuing on the Red Valley.you'll be astounded by the views and uniqueness of the scenery. It'll then be time to make your way down from the mountain and enjoy some lunch.from there,our private transport will take you back to Cusco.
