The Inca Jungle trek to Machu Picchu is by far the most adventurous trekking option in the Cusco region. It is also the most varied in terms of activities.
The ‘trek’ includes a massive downhill mountain biking experience, followed by possible river rafting on Grade III and IV rapids, jungle trekking, and optional zip-lining. It culminates with a visit to Machu Picchu.

We pick you up from your hotel at around 6 am.and travel by bus for 1 hours to Sacred Valley,here our breakfast,and then continue by bus for 2 hours to Abra Malaga Pass (4,350 m/14,271 ft),the highest point of our trek,and from where we'll begin our mountain biking.You'll listen to a brief orientation before getting all your riding equipment.We'll begin the 2-hours descent on our bikes over 55 km/34.18mi,until Huamanmarca.From there,we'll take transport to the town Santa Maria at 1,200 m/3,937 ft.We'll have our lunch here. In the afternoon,you'll have the option to go rafting on the Vilcanota River,around 2 hours.Once the journey is done,a bus will be waiting for us to go back to Santa Maria where we will have dinner and spend our first night in a local hotel.
After breakfast, We’ll start with a 45-minute hike along the car route before entering the original Inca trail,and then continue 3 hours.Along the way you will catch differents plants such as coca leaf,caffe,banana,avocado,orange,yucca. We’ll stop at the charming village of Quellomayo for lunch,after lunch we will continue for 5 hours until hot springs Cocalmayo. Enjoy a couple of hours at the hot springs before we continue our journey to Santa Teresa. A 45-minute hike from the hot springs to Santa Teresa or we take car from the hot springs to Santa Teresa. We’ll spend the night and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
After breakfast,there are 2 opcion go to ziplin or llactapata, the zipline company will pick you up and transport you to the zipline base. After a brief orientation, embark on a thrilling 2-hour adventure across four different ziplines and a suspension bridge. After the ziplining, take a 1-hour car ride to Hidroelectrica for a well-deserved lunch. Post-lunch, embark on a scenic 3 hour hike along the train tracks to Aguas Calientes town. At 7:00 pm, indulge in a delicious dinner at a local restaurant before heading back to the hotel for a good night’s sleep.
After your early breakfast at your hotel,there are 2 options to visit Machupicchu. Walk from Aguas Caliente to Machupicchu 1,30 minutes. Bus from Aguas calientes to Machupicchu 30 minutes, Each one-way bus ticket costs $12. Your guide will explain for 2 hours for several important reasons. After Machupicchu you will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included).have 2 options back to Cusco. If you to return by car you will need to begin your walk from Machu Picchu to Hidroelectrica around 10:30 am.And then continue 3 hours walk unti to Hidroelectrica the car depart at 2:00 pm,from Hidroelectrica to Cusco 6 hours approximately. If you to return by tren.Your train will depart at 14:55 pm.From here it is 2 hours to Ollantaytambo.Where our transportation will be waiting to take you back to cusco.
